Welcome to the SLFCPUG official web site!
Founded by Louisiana's foremost Final Cut/Aperture trainer, Ben Balser, we are a pair of support and networking groups for those using Apple's Final Cut Studio post production software suite, Final Cut Server, Logic, Aperture, and related video, audio, photo, and multimedia related applications, hardware, and production techniques.
Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences: pros, students, independent filmmakers, broadcasters, educators, event/commercial/corporate videographers, photographers, composers, and more. We have no membership fees, appreciating voluntary efforts, donations, raffles, and shirt sales to support us.
We hold two regular meetings each month, rescheduling for holiday conflicts:
The New Orleans Chapter meets on the last Wednesday of each month.
The Lafayette Chapter meets on the last Thursday of each month.

Our members enjoy benefits such as:
- Networking between friends and professionals who offer mutual support and opportunities.
- Presentations by one of our resident Apple Certified Trainers, a vendor, or a member with a specialty.

* We encourage vendors, organizations, and individuals to contact us in reference to giving presentations and announcements.
* iChat video conferencing is used to accommodate out of town vendors and presenters.
Shirts Now On Sale!
Our official SLFCPUG shirts for 2008 are now on sale! They are quality shirts and come in black or sports gray.
Orders placed by the 10th of the month will be ready for payment and pick-up at that month's meeting.
Or mail in your payment and we can ship it to you.
Shirts are $27.00 each, and XXL are $30.00 each.
Shipped orders add $10.00 for postage.
